2 lbground chuck
1bell pepper, minced
1 pkgonion soup mix
4 clovesgarlic, minced
2 handfulsgrated Parmesan
2 cupItalian bread crumbs
1egg
 salt, pepper

Preheat oven to 325°F.

Sauté the minced onion, pepper, and garlic in a little oil or butter.

Combine all ingredients in a large mixing bowl. Mix well, adding liquid (water or milk) as necessary. Shape into a loaf and place in a roasting pan.

Optionally, pour tomato sauce or gravy over the meatloaf. Cover the pan with tin foil, place in oven, and bake for 1 12–2 hours.
