Serves 4.
| 1 cup | flour |
| 1⁄2 tsp | salt |
| 1⁄2 cup | milk |
| 1 | egg |
Bring a wide pan of salted water to a boil.
Combine the dry ingredients in a bowl. Add the milk and egg and mix into a batter. Turn the batter onto a cutting board.
With a sharp knife, shave ribbons of batter off the board into the boiling water. When the noodles float, use a slotted spoon to remove them to drain (e.g. in a colander or on paper towels).
They are ready to serve.
